I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate within Prof Clare Grey’s laboratory in the Department of Chemistry, University of Cambridge, and a Junior Research Fellowship at Clare College. I completed my PhD in 2015 under the supervision of Prof Grey, and completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Sydney, with an Honours year supervised by A/Prof Chris Ling.
My research is focussed on interdisciplinary work combining aspects of solid state chemistry, materials chemistry, physics, chemical engineering and computer science. In particular, I am interested in combining high-throughput theoretical computational screening methods with various spectroscopic and physical properties measurements to predict new candidates for functional materials.
I also design board games in my spare time (more information can be found here).
